Prof. Peter Osei Boamah is an Associate Professor in the Ecological Agriculture Department at the Bolgatanga Technical University in Ghana. His area of specialization is in Environmental Science and Engineering. He is exceedingly ambitious in his research interest area, mainly in synthesis and application of low molecular weight chitosan and its derivatives. He also has extensive interest in the evaluation of growth and yield parameters of crops under irrigation systems.

He has published many articles, and he is also a reviewer of several journals. As an international scholar of Jiangsu University School of the Environment, China, his passion is in building capacities of young scientists to design a system in the treatment of aquatic media polluted by heavy metal. He is also interested in the agricultural application of low molecular weight chitosan.
