Access Programmes & One-Year Pre-Engineering Course
BTU offers access programmes and a one-year pre-engineering course designed to bridge gaps in qualifications and provide a pathway into degree and HND programmes for students who may not meet the standard entry requirements.
One-Year Pre-Engineering Course
The One-Year Pre-Engineering Course is designed to offer students who do not have Science background to study the four-year degree Engineering Programmes but are desirous of studying programmes in Engineering the opportunity to pursue any engineering related programmes of their choice.
Pre-HND (Access) / Pre 4-Year Medical Laboratory Technology (Access)
The Access Course is designed to offer students who do not have all the requirements to study HND the opportunity to pursue a one-year (i.e. two semesters of sixteen (16) weeks each) in English Language, Mathematics and Science.
Candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 50% pass in each of the three subjects in the final examination to be conducted by the Commission for Technical, Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) to qualify to enroll into any of the following HND programmes:
